Beat Research, the long-running Monday night riddim-fest at the Enormous Room, throws its second superparty (Bouncement!) this time in association with Basstown Presents and Great Scott.
DJ /rupture (aka Jace Clayton) called Boston home for years before blowing up on the international stage. A longtime friend to the Beat Research core, Clayton was an original member of Boston's legendary Toneburst Collective party squad. Usually DJing on 3 turntables and with samplers, gear and CD players, too, Clayton has found a home on such world-respect labels as Tigerbeat 6. He's played and lived nearly everywhere and recently returned to NYC where he runs his own label: Soot Recordings.
The first-ever Bouncement at the Linwood transformed a metal venue into a booming dance club, and Part 2 won't be much different. Headlined by such an accomplished and Boston-bred artist as DJ /Rupture, we expect madness.
