The new Smashing Pumpkins is growing on me at an exponential rate. It wasn't that I didn't care, and yes I was a bit turned off by this, but upon receiving Zeitgeist I nearly screamed in gratitude. For what it's worth, there are some downs - mainly that the production is crap due to the huge difference between a handful of songs. If you compare "Starz" and "Doomsday Clock," there is a noticeable difference. As far as cheezeball status, I have yet to find anything within Corgan's lyrics on such a heavily political album. Also, the guitar solo towards the end of "Pomp And Circumstances"...yes.
Is it really true that he's living in a wing of Courtney Love's house? Remember when they were boinking in the 90s?
