You know, I'm usually not one for the poppy von pop, but Peel are pretty fucking (sorry Mom) good. Based out of Austin, they seem to be getting a lot of attention from the tastemakers galore, and I can see why. Very catchy. Maybe if the Dandy Warhols never touched drugs they could have invented this sound. Definitely a draw from the influences of greats amongst Beach Boys or The Rentals. Very good summer music.
